fMRS Symposium 2023 @ Bangor (Wales)
Koen attended the functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy conference in Bangor. “It is impressive how the field is moving forward and what the possibilities are for researching neurometabolic dynamics at the level of the brain. For me personally, these techniques will offer new opportunities to investigate the effects of neurorehabilitation and motor control.”

OHBM Conference 2023
Melina and Shanti represented BRAINS-lab at the Organisation for Human Brain Mapping in Montreal. Not only did they showcase their latest TMS research on brain connectivity and motor control/learning, they also had time to network with international experts from other top-level institutions.

Research stay of Melina Hehl at Yale University
We are proud to announce that our colleague Melina has started a 3-month research stay at the research group of Richard Carson at the prestigious Yale PET Center, Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, New Haven (CT, USA). During this stay, she will expand her knowledge on PET data processing and analysis.

Belgian Society for Neuroscience conference in Brussels
Shanti Van Malderen showcased her latest research regarding cerebellar inhibition in older adults and Melina Hehl presented how to measure the magnetic field of your TMS coil. On top of that Melina was awarded the prize for the best oral presentation. Congratulations!
