Innovative research
We are part of the Neurologic Rehabilitation research group at Hasselt University. Our research focusses on the impact of age-related changes in inhibitory processes on motor control in the healthy brain, motor learning and interactions between different motor areas and their implications for motor control.
Multimodal technology
We use non-invasive brain stimulation (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Transcranial Electrical Stimulation) and medical imaging techniques (Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy).
